Sheryl Cilenti has been the Managing Member of the Law Firm of Sheryl Bernstein Cilenti, LLC, a small Madison, New Jersey based law firm, since she formed it in 2005.  Her practice is principally devoted to serving the commercial and corporate legal needs of small to medium sized companies and entrepreneurs.

She counsels businesses regarding commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance issues, employment issues, financial relationships, commercial leases and general business matters.

Before going back to private practice, she served as Vice President,  General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Vestcom International, Inc., a publicly held business communications company.  In that role she directed all aspects of the company’s legal needs, including managing the acquisition program, organizing and coordinating Board meetings and communications, negotiating credit facilities, implementing corporate governance and compliance processes and steering the company through 2 disgruntled shareholder fights.

Before joining Vestcom, Sheryl was a corporate associate at Lowenstein Sandler, P.C.  

Sheryl’s background as a corporate attorney coupled with her experience as a member of the senior management team of a publicly held company give her a valuable perspective on meeting the legal needs of the business community.
